A content-rich cultural heritage platform digitising and presenting heritage content through an accessible, searchable portal.

The challenge

The client needed to digitise and present a large body of cultural heritage content in a way that was beautiful, searchable and discoverable by people around the world.

That meant a custom content management workflow for non-technical editors, strong search, and excellent SEO so the content could actually be found.

Our solution

We built the portal on Next.js for fast, SEO-friendly rendering, backed by a custom content model that lets editors publish rich content without touching code.

Structured content and metadata power both on-site search and search-engine discoverability, with clean URLs, structured data and performance tuned for Core Web Vitals.

The design prioritises readability and accessibility so the heritage content takes centre stage across devices.
